It's About the Journey...

I love that art is not about perfection, but rather about the journey and process of creating.  In fact, it’s the imperfections and uniqueness of each piece I create that make it more meaningful and impactful.  Creating art has taught me to be present and mindful and enjoy what each day brings to the table.   

My use of different materials, such as stone, metal, beeswax, paper, natural pigments, pastels and oil sticks adds an element of texture, color and depth.  Incorporating elements from the natural world into my work not only adds visual richness but also allows viewers to experience a sense of wonder and reverence for the beauty that surrounds us.

My artistic process is driven by a sense of wonder, a healthy dose of courage and a desire to create art that is both meaningful and beautiful.
